1. Who we are

My Story Game is operated by BR Tech Ltd (company number 207369386, registered in Bulgaria). “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means the person placing the order.

By ordering, you agree to these terms.

2. What you are buying

A personalized interactive storybook: a story in which your child is the illustrated hero, drawn from a photo you upload, and in which the reader’s choices change what happens next.

The book is digital. It opens in a web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Nothing is printed and nothing is shipped.

3. Who can order

You must be 18 or older and be the parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo, or have their parent’s or guardian’s permission.

4. Ordering and the free preview

You choose a story, upload one photo, and give the hero’s first name and age along with your email address. We then show you your child as the hero of that story — free, before any payment. You can try a different photo as many times as you like, and you are under no obligation to buy.

We also email that preview to the address you gave, so you can come back to it later.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars on each book and are charged once — there is no subscription. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment processor; we never see or store your card details. Any tax that applies is shown before you pay.

6. Delivery and access

Ordering takes a couple of minutes. Within 24 hours we send you two or three sample illustrations to approve. Once you approve them, the finished book is normally ready and sent to your email within 2–3 days, as a private link.

If you take your time approving, that is entirely fine — the 2–3 days start from your approval, not from your order.

The link is yours to keep and stays available for as long as we run the service. If we ever had to close it down, we would give you notice and a way to save what you bought.

7. Your photo and what you promise us

When you upload a photo you confirm that you have the right to do so, and that you are the child’s parent or guardian or have their permission. You keep all rights in your photo.

You give us a limited permission to use it for one purpose only: creating the book you ordered, including sending it to the image-generation service that draws the illustrations. We delete the original once the book is finished. What we do with it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Do not upload photos of anyone without permission, or anything unlawful.

8. What you may do with the book

The book is for your family’s personal enjoyment. You may read it, re-read it and show it to whoever you like.

You may not resell it, republish it, or use the story or the illustrations commercially. The story, the artwork and the software stay ours, apart from your own photo, which stays yours.

9. Our guarantee and refunds

You see the hero before you pay, so most of the risk is gone before any money changes hands. After that:

• if the hero in the finished book doesn’t look like your child, tell us and we redo it;
• if the second attempt still isn’t right, or something else is genuinely wrong with the book, we refund you in full.

Write to us within 30 days of receiving the book. Refunds go back to the card used for the order.

10. Fair use of the service

Please don’t attack, overload or try to break into the site, scrape it, or use it to make anything unlawful, hateful or harmful. We may refuse or cancel an order that breaks these terms, and refund it.

11. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the service running, but we can’t promise it will never be down. We may add, change or retire stories over time; a book you have already bought keeps working.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the order it concerns.

Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. This does not take away the consumer rights you have where you live — if the law of your home state or country gives you stronger protection, that protection still applies to you.
